Before- and After-School Program
At Allen-Field, before- and after-school services are offered through the Community Learning Center coordinated by the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Milwaukee. Activities include Homework Power Hour, academic tutoring, computer classes, organized sports and various clubs.
Before-school child care is offered from 7:30-8:30 a.m. Monday through Friday. A $5.00 weekly fee must be paid in advance. This fee is waived for parents who participate in the W2 Program. For W2 authorization, parents must go to the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families regional offices or visit http://dcf.wisconsin.gov/w2/ for more information.
The CLC’s after-school extension program is available for all grades from 3:40-6:30 p.m. There is a one-time $5.00 fee. The extension of the school day schedule is as follows:
| 3:40-4:00 p.m. | After-school snack |
| 4:00-5:30 p.m. | Activities offered to all K4, K5 and grade 1 students |
| 4:00-6:30 p.m. | Activities offered to students in grades 2-5 |
A CLC Summer School program is offered in conjunction with the Allen-Field Summer School program, allowing students to continue enrichment activities during the summer months.
