At Brown Street Academy, online computer research skills are introduced and software applications allow students to reinforce key concepts, practice math calculations, build reading abilities and apply keyboarding skills. By embedding the use of technology at Brown Street in all classrooms, students will develop their online prowess, preparing them for an ever-changing, globally connected world.

In order to ensure that students have access to a wide variety of technological resources, each classroom is equipped with 2-5 computers, based on grade level and classroom size. Brown Street's computer lab features 30 additional computers. The Library is next door to the lab, allowing students quiet study time and hard copy print resources.
