Community Learning Center

image of carver mural

The Boys & Girls’ Club of Greater Milwaukee, along with Milwaukee Recreation, offers an after-school Community Learning Center (CLC). Students have the opportunity to participate in various educational and recreational activities while being supervised by qualified, trained staff members. Activities include, but are not limited to, arts and crafts, sports leagues, structured tutoring and homework help. Visit the Extracurriculars tab for a full list.

Students are encouraged to use the CLC as a means to advancing their education, talents and skills. After-school activities allow them to use their time and energy constructively. Working in the CLC’s structured environment lets students develop and grow while receiving guidance from professionals.

"There is no shortcut to achievement. Life requires thorough preparation. Veneer isn't worth anything."
