“I began teaching at Carver Academy in 2005. I enjoy watching my students grow emotionally and academically throughout the school year. In my classroom, we do hands-on learning while incorporating students’ interests. My students should know that I consider our class a family. Each member has special jobs and responsibilities. We work cohesively as a unit to help and motivate one another so that each individual may reach his or her full potential. My favorite thing about our school is the friendly students and staff. Carver is a great place because the staff truly cares about our students and keeps their best interests, in all aspects, at heart.”
