“In 2008, I came to teach at Carver Academy. I love teaching because every day is different and every day someone learns something. Students enjoy my classroom because they know what I expect. I have very clear rules and procedures that enable me to be an effective teacher. I am firm, but fair. My students should know that I have very high expectations for all of them. I expect all of my students to be successful and productive. My favorite thing about Carver is that everyone supports each other, whether it be students or staff. We are a family at Carver. Our school is a great place because we all truly care. Carver offers a positive and safe learning environment for students.”
