Congress Early Childhood

Through the Congress Early Childhood Center, children are taught to embrace a love for learning at an early age. As the only National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) accredited childcare program beginning with two-year-old children in a public school setting in the state of Wisconsin, Congress is proud to be one of the best educational options for Milwaukee’s smallest learners. With a compassionate staff that teaches self-confidence and respect for others at an early age, Congress builds a solid foundation for young learners as they take their first steps towards achieving a first-class education.

Childcare is a cooperative experience between staff and parents that provides stimulation for a lifetime of learning. The programs offered at Congress are designed to accommodate family schedules and offer each child the opportunity to grow in a positive, productive setting that is conducive to the development of essential skills and values.

The Early Childhood program provides each child with experiences that promote:

  • Positive self-esteem
  • Positive social interaction
  • Self-expression
  • Communication skills
  • Creative expression
  • Large and small muscle development
  • Intellectual growth

The program provides a balance of:

  • Active and quiet activities
  • Individual and group activities
  • Indoor and outdoor activities
