Extracurricular Activities

At Congress, students are encouraged to exert their energy in a positive outlet by participating in extracurricular activities. From Basketball and Track and Field to Student Council and Girl Scout Daisies, there is an activity for every student regardless of age or skill level. By choosing to join a sports team or become a member of a club, students gain the opportunity to hone their natural abilities and pursue individual interests. The extracurricular activities at Congress help students build their self-confidence while allowing them to build strong relationships with their peers as they work together to achieve a common goal.

The Congress community believes that students who participate in extracurricular activities become well-rounded, self-confident leaders prepared to meet the challenges of today’s world. As members of teams or clubs, each individual student is able to build upon his or her personal identity, learn new skills and experience new things. Coaches and activity leaders highlight the importance of respect, determination and honesty among students.
