Ms. Pollman began teaching in 1981 and has been at Cooper School since 1997. She earned a degree from Alverno College in Education in 1980. She knows that she can help children to see the possibilities that their future holds for them. Her teaching focuses on equipping students with the tools needed to reach their full potential. Students enjoy her classroom because it is a home away from home. She spends a lot of time in her classroom so she makes it a fun place to be. Her classroom is a very busy place—there is always something to learn, read, create, or solve.
Ms. Pollman thinks of her students as part of her own family. She sets high standards and expects students to meet them, as she would hope of her own children. She wants each and every student to be successful. If you take the time to do something, then take the time to do it right the first time. She is fair and fun with a great sense of humor.
The Cooper staff genuinely cares about and respects the children and their families. All teachers work together and are willing to help each other. The staff always rises to the top to go above and beyond. Ms. Pollman feels very fortunate to work with such a dedicated and compassionate group of people. |
