| Speech and Language Pathologist
Ms. Francel began teaching at Cooper in 2005. She attended Marquette University and earned her bachelor’s degree in Science in 1986 and her master’s degree in Communication disorders in 1987. Her first job was working with developmentally delayed adults in a sheltered workshop setting. Two years later, she was employed at a residential treatment center for juvenile delinquents. She began working for MPS in November of 1992.
Her favorite aspect of being a speech pathologist is seeing the look on a student’s face when a student works hard and finally “gets it.” Cooper students enjoy her classroom because of all the individual attention they receive. Ms. Francel appreciates students that try their best. She likes Cooper because of the wonderful parents and families who are interested, involved and willing to share their time and talents, making Cooper a very special place to work. |
