Rose Haas
| K5
Mrs. Haas has been teaching since 1987. She earned her degree in Early Childhood Education from UW-Milwaukee. She is married with two daughters. Prior to teaching Kindergarten, she taught Grade 1 at Cooper School for 19 years.
She is privileged to team teach with Mrs. Nelson in the Cooper K5 classroom. Each day young students bring smiles, laughter and an eagerness to learn. Mrs. Haas and Mrs. Nelson share similar teaching philosophies and believe that children learn best in a warm, friendly environment where they can build self-confidence and experience success. One of their favorite aspects about teaching is when former students come back to visit or volunteer. Mrs. Haas is very proud of all the children that she has worked with and enjoys reminiscing with them about their projects together, such at Coats for Kids. It is truly an honor to work at a school with caring families, dedicated staff members and friendly, hard-working students. She knows that each day at Cooper brings different opportunities that are always exciting and challenging. She has seen many changes during her teaching career but one thing remains constant at Cooper: families and staff members work together to provide children with the best possible foundation for learning. |
