Partnerships
Through established partnerships with organizations throughout the Milwaukee area, Custer students receive additional support and new learning opportunities. Thanks to the generosity of the organizations that partner with Custer, students learn from positive role models and are exposed to aspects of different careers, helping them make decisions about their future and allowing them to ask questions and receive answers from experienced professionals. The following organizations partner with Custer to ensure that students receive a well-rounded education:
| Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC): MATC provides Custer with a cosmetologist who instructs students interested in cosmetology. Students who take part in this class are encouraged to enroll in MATC’s Cosmetology program. Those students who successfully complete the class at Custer and choose to enroll in MATC’s program will receive partial college credit. |
