Partnering with Parents
No educational team is complete
without parents as key players. Our goal at Engleburg is to increase parental
involvement.
Engleburg School Council (ESC) acts
as a governing body for the school. It reviews the Engleburg School
Educational Plan, helps set the budget, provides input into policies at the
school as well as fund-raising efforts and fun activities for families after
school. Members from ESC include staff members and parents. They assist in
interviewing applicants for teaching positions and may represent the school in
other ways. The group meets once a month at 5:30 P.M.. New members are always
welcome.

the MPS automated attendance phone notification system, phones you within two
hours of the beginning of the school day if your child is not in school and you
have not contacted us. We also use the system to remind parents of report
card dates, parent-teacher conferences, and events at the school.
