Technology

Engleburg is technology rich with  computers in all 1st through 5th grade classrooms.

• Kindergarten children use educational games that prepare them to read and work with numbers.

• Grade1 and 2 students use computer applications to create documents with pictures and words. They also use games to reinforce reading and math skills.

• Students in 3rd through 5th grade learn keyboarding and use programs such as Microsoft Word ®, Excel ®, Publisher and PowerPoint ®.

All students have free Internet accounts provided by MPS.  The classroom teachers and the library media specialist provide instruction through filtered Internet sites that are educational and correlate with the MPS Learning Targets and Wisconsin State K12 Standards.

The computer network allows teachers to easily communicate with parents, staff members, and administrators to share curriculum, lessons, and professional information with one another.
