profession for over 30 years. This is
my fourth year as a literacy coach in MPS. Prior to that I served as a resource person
in math, technology, and professional development. I have taught in kindergarten, first, second grade classrooms full time
and in grades 4th through 8th grade part time or half days. I taught in the secondary school for 7
years. I helped out as adjunct staff
at two different colleges in the Milwaukee area. I am a life long learner
starting in a one room school in rural Iowa.
I attended three different high schools starting in a rural
community to an urban setting. I
received my BS in Education from Concordia College in River Forest
Illinois. In addition I have an art
certification from Wayne State College in Wayne, Nebraska. From Cardinal Stritch I earned my Masters Degree and later certification in Early Childhood. At present I am in a doctoral program at
Concordia University, River Forest, Illinois. A Reading
Certificate is done except for the practicum.
Currently I am taking classes for a media specialist certification. |
