Hi-Mount Extracurriculars

Hi-Mount is dedicated to the development of well-rounded students, encouraging learners to excel academically, socially and emotionally. At Hi-Mount, extracurricular activities are considered an essential part of the core curriculum and all students are encouraged to find an activity that helps them build upon their natural talents and interests. Students who participate in these activities strengthen bonds with their peers and learn to respect the abilities and goals of others as they strive to achieve common goals.

Foreign Language

  • Students who wish to learn a foreign language are in luck. Hi-Mount offers students Spanish lessons at a beginner’s level after school.

In addition to the musical education written into the Hi-Mount curriculum, students can advance their skills by receiving additional instruction.

  • Piano: A traveling piano professor offers students piano lessons throughout the day.
  •

  • Instrumental Music Lessons: Safe Zone provides instruction both during the school day and after school.
  •

  • African Drumming Lessons: The Wisconsin Conservatory of Music provides African Drumming lessons during the school day.
  •
