Community Learning Center

O.W. Holmes School opened the doors to its Community Learning Center (CLC) in 2002. Since that time, the CLC has grown to a key attraction among students. The CLC offers after-school enrichment opportunities from 2:30 p.m. – 5:15 p.m. each school day. During the summer months, doors are open from 7:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

With a safe, fun and structured environment, the CLC provides young people with a positive place to spend their time. The CLC offers homework help, tutoring, recreational activities, social enrichment, organized field trips and a one-on-one mentoring program through Milwaukee’s Big Brothers/Big Sisters Program.
