Holmes uses a special education inclusion model in all grades. This model calls for a special education teacher and a regular education teacher working together to meet students’ IEP goals. Using this inclusion model increases the time special education students are learning alongside regular education students. This also helps to ensure that special education students are receiving instruction in the Learning Targets appropriate for their grade level.
