Resources

additional image of students in computer classTechnology education at Hopkins Street not only exposes students to computer software programs and online research skills, but also equips them with resources to further their knowledge in core subject areas. Students access technology that enables them to create multimedia presentations, hone their academic skills and research new topics. With an innovative library media center available for student use and computers in every classroom, Hopkins Street learners have endless resources at their fingertips. All computers are Internet-ready and feature current software programs that supplement regular classroom activities.

While Hopkins Street students are given the freedom to explore the Internet, they are also expected to be responsible Web surfers. Online safety is a crucial element of technological education. The Hopkins Street staff educates students to protect themselves by visiting safe websites. Some of the staff’s favorite sites are listed below. Students can explore these educational sites at the school or at home.
