Information: World History is a survey course of Eastern and Western civilization from prehistoric times to the present. We analyze and become aware of how events, ideas, inventions, and contacts between civilizations have resulted in problems and progress. An understanding of historical craft will be developed through learning different interpretations of historical events involving these civilizations. We work on critical thinking, decision making, note taking, and essay/paper writing skills. We will make extensive use of primary source materials during the year.
