My name is Mrs. Cassandra Downey and I am delighted to be part of the Rufus King Middle Years Campus family teaching 6th grade reading. I have been employed with Milwaukee Public Schools for over 13 years; the last eight as a substitute teacher. I graduated from high school here in Milwaukee and received my undergraduate degrees’ from Upper Iowa University, my graduate degrees’ from Concordia University, and will completing my doctoral degree in the winter of 2014.
