Gates Millennium Scholars Program

Requirements:

  • African American, American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian Pacific Islander American, or Hispanic American
  • Citizen, national, or legal permanent resident of the United States
  • 3.3 GPA
  • Enroll for the first time at a U.S. located, accredited college or university in the fall of 2011 as a full-time, degree-seeking, first-year student.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities through participation in community service, extracurricular or other activities.
  • Meet the Federal Pell Grant eligibility criteria
  • Complete and submit all three required forms: the student’s application (Nominee Personal Information Form), an evaluation of the student’s academic record (Nominator Form) and an evaluation of the student’s community service and leadership activities(Recommender Form)

Requirements:

Wisconsin Elks Most Valuable Student Scholarship

Requirements:

  • Any high school senior who is a citizen of the United States is eligible to apply.
  • Applicants must be citizens of the United States on the date their applications are signed; permanent legal resident status does not qualify.
  • Male and female students compete separately.
  • Applicants will be judged on scholarship, leadership, and financial need.
  • All scholarships are in the form of certificates of award conditional upon the full-time enrollment of the winner in an accredited U.S. college or university.
