M.B.A., Universidad Central de Venezuela; M.M. in String
Pedagogy, UW-Milwaukee; B.M., University of Musical Studies,
Caracas, Venezuela. The faculty chair of the Conservatory’s String
Department since 2001, Ms. Pardo performed nearly fifteen years with
the Simon Bolivar Symphony Orchestra in Caracas. She also taught at
the Simon Bolivar Conservatory and coached young musicians in the
Caracas Youth Symphony and elsewhere in Venezuela. As a violist, her
chamber music experience includes the Teresa Carreña String Quartet
and the Santa Cecilia String Trio. She has also performed as soloist
in such major works as Bach’s Sixth Brandenburg Concerto, the
Telemann Solo and Double Concerti, and Mozart’s Symphonia
Concertante for violin and viola. Ms. Pardo appears with several
local musical groups including the Milwaukee Festival City Symphony
and the Kenosha Symphony Orchestra. In addition to her work at the
Conservatory, she is the Orchestra Director at Lincoln Middle School
of the Arts and works as conductor with the Progressions Program for
MYSO. In September 2002, she founded the WCM Suzuki String Program.
