Library Media Center
Lowell Elementary School is a wired and networked school with an extensive collection of over 8,000 print, video, digital and electronic resources in the Library Media Center. In addition to the 15 computers in the Library, there are computers in every classroom as well as laptops for student use. Technology is integrated into the Lowell curriculum, enhancing student learning. Researching skills, both print and online, are introduced and reinforced through the grades. Software applications allow students to perfect their understanding of key concepts, practice math calculations, build reading abilities and apply keyboarding skills. By continuing to increase the use of technology at Lowell, students develop their online prowess, preparing them for an ever-changing, globally connected world.
