“While I am fairly new to school nursing, I have worked in a variety of hospital and clinic settings, including maternal/child, neonatal intensive care, infertility and gynecology and pediatrics. Many of my students may be interested to know that I worked as a registered nurse in New Orleans during Hurricane Katrina. That being said, I can proudly proclaim that I prefer blizzards to hurricanes! I was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I love nursing and I find school nursing to be rewarding and challenging. I thoroughly enjoy working with the students and seeing their smiling faces every day. MACL students and staff are very special to me.”
