Parent Involvement

Parents and guardians use the Family and Student Advocate System (FSAS) to provide support for their children’s academic success. As part of the FSAS, JMAC works to empower parents with techniques and information to help their child succeed in school and prepare for college. JMAC advocates further serve to help students and families connect to helpful community resources.

Parents and community representatives provide input regarding the Title I Family and Community Involvement Policy and Compact and the overall Educational Plan via the School Governance Council meetings. Parents also serve as participants on the JMAC Teacher Interview Committee.
