Research has shown that the YRS (Year Round School) calendar is an innovative way of providing learning opportunities for our students throughout the academic school year. I hope the information provided will answer some of the questions you may have about the YRS calendar.

What is the difference between a YRS and a traditional school?  Describe the intersessions. What community resources will be available during the intersessions? If my other children are in different schools will they have the same days off? How can the YRS calendar help my child progress academically? Will there be summer vacation? Will my child receive transportation to the intersessions? Can my child continue to work on assignments/projects without attending the intersessions? MEC Year Round Calendar
