Literacy Corner

Each students should have received a copy of their class schedule.  On this schedule you will notice a Cohort scheduled for 5th period.

Cohort will focus on developing literacy skills.

This is a 30 minute class.  Students will earn a quarter (.25) credit per semester.

Some of the skills that will be developed are reading and writing.

We will accomplish this by having silent reading and writing assignments.

This is a school-wide effort.  We encourage the entire Metropolitan Family to activity participate in this effort, this includes parents/guardians, staff, students and community members.
