Drawing

Course Description

This course is a formal basic drawing class. We will be exploring the process of drawing through observations, discovery, experimentation and improvisation. Students will learn to use a variety of drawing media and develop their drawings as finished art. They will be required to keep a homework sketchbook record of both in class and out of class observations.

Oil Pastel Pipes

This lesson works with composition, use of 3-d space, complementary color, effect of light on rounded objects, overlapping, intertwining, consistency of a light source and use of oil pastels and shading.
