Summer Reading Assignment

All students enrolled in English classes at Riverside University High School are expected to read at least one assigned book over the summer. Books are assigned by course and grade level. Students are expected to submit a double entry log, character chart, and word – processed, one paragraph character analysis on the third day of school in September.

Assigned novels are as follows:

Riverside students may check out these titles from our school bookstore. These books can also be found in our public libraries and at local bookstores such as Boswell’s on Downer Avenue. Some titles may also be found in their entirety electronically.
