Erin Bechtel - French

Degrees: BS in Education, French and History from Bowling Green State University.

Ms. Bechtel has studied at the L'Institut de Touranine in Tours, France. She has completed postgraduate work at Cardinal Stritch University and is a member of SWAAF and WAFLT professional organizations.

Ms. CochraneCathleen Cochrane - Spanish

Degrees: BS in Spanish Education, UW Madison, MA in Latin American Literature and History, Indiana University - Bloomington.

Ms. Cochrane has studied in Seville, Spain as well as in Mexico.

Greta Johansen - Spanish

Degrees:
BA in Spanish from UW Milwaukee.

Ms. Johansen has attended the Universidad Tecnologico de Monterrey in Guadalajara, Mexico where she focused her studies on Mexican history and culture. Ms. Johansen, affectionately known as "Ms. Greta", is also a member of WAFLT (Wisconsin Association of Foreigh Language Teachers).

Jennifer Kerhin - Spanish

Degrees:
BS in Spanish, UW Milwaukee. ME, Cardinal Stritch University. 2006 SEWAC Instructor. National Writing Project Trained Instructor.

Ms. Kerhin started her teaching career in MPS in 1998. She has attended the Universidad de Guanajuato in Mexico studying Mexican Art History and Literature.

Julie Rose - French, Department Chairperson

Degrees:
BA, Eastern Michigan University. MS in Curriculum and Instruction, UW Milwaukee. National Writing Project Trained Instructor.

Ms. Rose has studied at the Sorbonne, as well as the Alliance Francaise in Paris. She is a member of SWAAF (French Academic Association) and WAFLT.

Jennifer Ruel - Spanish

Jennifer Ruel joined the World Language Department of Riverside two years ago. She teaches Spanish 1 and Spanish 2. She came to Riverside after receiving her Bachelor in Education from UW-Milwaukee. She studied the Spanish language at La Universidad de La Serena-Chile for a year and has traveled to several Sapnish speaking countries; including Chile, Peru and Argentina.
