PLAN

PSAT

| Students have the opportunity to take the PSAT in October to gain
practice for the SAT and as a qualifying test for the National Merit
Scholarship competition and for special recognition programs for
African-American and Hispanic students. The PSAT includes three sections:
verbal, mathematics, and writing. |
ACT

| American College Test is a 3 hour, multiple-choice test with sections
on English, Mathematics, Reading, and Science Reasoning. Can also
be taken with an additional Writing Test. Scale is 0-36. The ACT
can be used for admission to the University of Wisconsin System as
well as for most other colleges. |
