Harry & Rose Samson Family Jewish Community Center Scholarship 5/7/12 $500 or $1000
  • Two separate scholarships:
    • Outstanding Jewish Teen Athlete of the Year $500
    • JCC Outstanding Tennis Teen Athlete of the Year $1000
  • Achieved All-Conference or equivalent in sport
  • Must be ranked in the top 25% of your class
  • Must have performed volunteer service and taken leadership roles in commmunity

Harley-Davidson Foundation Minority Scholarships 5/25/12 $5000 annually ($20,000 total) plus an additional $7000 for freshman year housing
  • Must be a minority student (American Indian, Alaskan native, Asian, Pacific Islander,
  • Southeast Asian, African American or Black, Hispanic or Latino)
  • Eligible for employment in the US
  • Accepted for admission to UWM and enrollment as of Freshman Fall semester
  • 3.2 GPA minimum
  • 20 ACTminimum

  • Planning to major in and pursue a career in Information Systems, Engineering, Finance, Human

MATC STEM Scholarship 5/25/12 varies
  • Must be a US Citizen or lawful permanent resident
  • GPA of 2.5 minimum
  • Successfully meet or exceed the minimum MATC Accuplacer test scores
  • Must be fully admitted and enrolled full time in one of the MATC Associate in Applied Science
  • Programs
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • Essay indicating the program and career goals

Wisconsin Towns Association Scholarship Program 5/30/12 $750 - $1000
  • 500 - 1000 word essay on assigned topic
  • High school senior
  • Plan to enroll in a Wisconsin public or private college or vocational school
  • Application available in Room 209
NAACP - Waukesha Branch 5/31/12 $10,000 or $1,000
  • Priority given to NAACP members, but not exclusively
  • High School Juniors or Seniors
  • African-American extraction & US citizen
  • 3 letters of recommendation

Riverside Parent Student Association Senior Scholarship 5/31/12 $500
  • One page resume
  • 300 word essay
  • Letter of recommendationAwards restricted to 1st year students
  • Parent must be a current member of the RUHS PSA

Nigerian Community in Milwaukee Scholarship Program 6/1/12 $500
  • African descent
  • GPA of 2.5
  • Letter of recommendation from teacher, community leader, or guidance counselor
  • Essay on The African American Struggle for Higher Education

Knights of Peter Claver Scholarship 6/20/12 Varies
  • US Resident or citizen
  • GPA 3.0 or better
  • Accepted by college/university
  • 500 word essay: "How this scholarship helps further my education"
Sarah B. and Louis M. Kesselman Israel Program Scholarship Fund Fall Varies
  • Enables Jewish students the opportunity to spend a semester or a year in Israel.
  • Must be 18-30
  • Jewish
  • High School graduate. Applications must be submitted while a college student.
