Roosevelt Middle School of the Arts - Eighth Grade

Welcome to 8th grade at Roosevelt Middle School of the Arts!

8th grade is looked upon as a transitional year, preparing for high school. 8th grade students begin their day in homebase. The 8th grade homebases and lockers are on the third floor.

Eighth grade students all take these classes:

English
Algebra
Science
Social Studies
a semester of gym or a semester of dance
two year long arts major classes.

Students are expected to continue in band, orchestra or choir.

Students may not enter Spanish in the 8th grade.

At the conclusion of 7th grade, students may audition for the Roosevelt Stage Crew as part of their 8th grade course of study.
