Ms. St. Clair is proud of the entire Forensics teams. Their hard work and dedication culminated in this State-wide recognition.
Roosevelt's 6th Grade Math teacher, Mr. Robert Berry, was inducted into the MLFA Hall of Fame at the Forensics State Tournament Awards Ceremony. Mr. Berry has been actively involved in Middle Level Forensics since 1985. He has been a head coach and currently is the head judge for the Roosevelt team. While Mr. Berry was the head coach, Roosevelt captured more first place MLFA State Titles. His record still stands today. Roosevelt is honored to have Mr. Berry on our team.
Ms. St. Clair is thankful to Mr. Berry for his expertise and assistance during this Forensics season and for the all the coaches who assisted her in coaching Roosevelt's large Forensics team: Ms. Eileen Scheer, Mr. Brad Nommensen, Ms. Sara Wroblewski, Ms. Patty Horigan, Ms. Alicia Gomez, Ms. Martha Treder, and Ms. Zene Peer.
I would also like to extend my gratitude to Ms. St. Clair, for leading the Forensics team and teachers and parents who invested in the students of this year's very successful 2011 Forensics Team!
On Saturday March 26, Roosevelt's Girls Basketball Team took First Place in the March of Champions competition. Congratulations, Coach Tucker and our Girls Basketball Team!
Mike Correa-Volkman and William Esty joined Golda's Chess team in Oshkosh from March 18 to March 20 for the Scholastic Chess Championships. The kids did a wonderful job! The Middle School team finished in 6th place!
