MPS Assistive Technology web logo

The MPS Assistive Technology Office, located in the Division of Special Services Center, offers workshops, inservices, open labs and additional training in the areas of assistive technology to staff members and parents.  We can be contacted to provide inservices for schools or for additional information. Our site will continually be updated with information regarding assistive technology.  For current news and updates, be sure to visit our What's New page.

Open Labs allow people to learn more about technology for students with special needs. They provide exciting opportunities for people to ask questions and view technology that can aid in the instruction of students. Note that some open lab times are offered in conjunction with the district's School Banking Time Days. If you are not able to attend an Open Lab but would like to visit, call 438-3623 for an appointment. Check out the Calendar of Events for Scheduled Open Labs.

The MPS Assistive Technology Lab is a Preview Site for some software companies. Many of their products are available in the lab for you to try out during open labs or by appointment. The links below will take you to the sites of participating vendors.
