- Specifically designed for children three, four, five and six years old.

- A warm, comfortable and caring setting.
- A meeting place where families come to relax and chat on an informal basis with staff and other families.
- A room that is equipped with toys for younger siblings to use when they accompany their parents.
- Offers a variety of interesting speakers, programs and workshops.
- Has a plentiful lending library, where adults can check out toys, books and other materials to use at home with their children.
- Is able to offer resources for those families seeking information, assistance and support.
Family and School Collaborations

Student profiles that include work samples, anecdotal information and checklists which document progress. Student Progress Reports that are shared twice a year, one in January and one in June.
- Parent/Teacher Conferences are conducted on site both in the Fall and Spring.
Home Visits are made by staff. Parents also have the options of meeting with staff on their lunch hour at their workplace, a fast food restaurant or may communicate with the staff on the phone. Family Link Newsletter is sent home on a regular basis to notify parents of upcoming events and to share a variety of information "Families" send weekly letters home. Parents are encouraged to take an active role in supporting student learning.
