Four Steps to Follow to Be a Part of Stuart's Science Fair

Updated November 2008

First: Choose a science project. You may pick one of your own or:

You may go to the public library for books or other materials that might help you: Here's a link to the Milwaukee County Federated Library.

You may even be able to find some science projects on the internet. Try this: Stuart's Elementary Science Link Page.

Choose something that you can do and that you think will be fun and interesting. Pick something that will let you follow the steps needed for Stuart's Science Fair entries.

Second: Fill out the project registration form. Turn it in to your teacher on or before the due date.

Did you lose your form? Just write the following information on your own paper:

Stuart School Science Fair Registration

Student name (print full name), grade, room

Use a few sentences to tell what you are trying to find out.

Next, write your hypothesis (guess) about what you think will happen when you do your project.

Finally put parent and student signatures on the paper.

Third: Do a project worksheet on your own paper.Click the text below to find out the six things that need to be included:

Things to Include in Project Worksheet

Give your completed project worksheet to your teacher as soon as possible. You'll need time to do a good job on step four.

Fourth: Display your project. When your Project Worksheet is approved, Mr. Jaszewski will provide a project display board. Lay out your display as shown at the right.

Finished? Check with your teacher about bringing your work to school.
