2010

Trowbridge was honored to have student artwork displayed along Lake Drive during the Lakefront Festival of Art 2010 at Milwaukee's lakefront this summer. Mr. Hartmann's talented students created amazing work! View a short slideshow here.

2008

In October 2008, more than 100 eager Trowbridge students in Grades 2 through 5 welcomed the innovative dance instructors from the Trey McIntyre Project who got them moving their feet and engaging their minds. The dance performance on October 29 included one dance that incorporated all the students and four smaller performances from each grade. Students were delighted as they learned about music, movement, and dance while expressing themselves through the poetry of Shel Silverstein. No tutus required, this was modern dance! Trowbridge students displayed their dance skills as they moved like spaghetti, found their shadows, turned their bodies into instruments, and tried to escape a hungry Boa Constrictor! Time Warner Cable filmed the budding dance stars and captured the excitement in a documentary.
