Physical Education

Our physical education program focuses on instilling a positive attitude towards exercise and nutrition in our students. Victory’s flag football team offers students a means of staying active and learning to work together to accomplish a goal. Any more sports? Our playground includes equipment and learning opportunities for all ages, including a tot lot for youngsters.

Arts

Our talented art specialist received a grant from Artists Working in Education for his/her hard work and innovation in the classroom. We were recently honored to have a Wisconsin artist and educator work with sixth, seventh and eighth grade students in creating four pieces of art for our school.

Music

Our music specialist, in conjunction with the Skylight Opera Theatre, works on after-school projects with our students. They perform student productions with the Skylight Theatre’s professional arts group. Students participating in this project write poems, perform skits and learn songs and choreographies.

Prize-winning Parents

Victory has a strong Parent Group that provides support for our school and our students by donating their time and talents. Through their hard work, our parents and guardians strengthen the Victory community.

Our parents are involved with creating our monthly newspaper, Voice of Victory. They also play a major role in organizing our Girl Scouts program.
 

Parent Group achievements include:

• Providing a luncheon for our teachers during evening parent conferences.
• Planning and executing our Annual Ethnic Food Festival, which takes place in January during our Lights On activities.
• Organizing our Girl Scouts program.
• Volunteering as tutors.
• Contributing to the creation of our monthly newspaper, Voice of Victory.
• Offering support for our field trip costs and organizing our Field Days.
• Assisting with graduation.
• Preparing a Parent Potluck to show appreciation for our teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week.
