Night School Program

The Vincent community focuses on achieving 100% graduation rates and commits to delivering graduates who are prepared to extend their education or enter the work force. Vincent’s community and staff wants students to have strong, reliable resources available to them in order to help them graduate.

Vincent’s Night School Program is strongly encouraged for students who have not been successful in a traditional school environment. Night School meets Monday through Thursday from 4 - 7:30 p.m. Students examine a variety of subjects, reinforce practical skills and gain knowledge in core academic areas critical for advancement. Students are scheduled for three classes on Monday and Wednesday and an additional three classes on Tuesday and Thursday.

Night School is taught by Vincent’s certified teaching staff. Additionally, a counselor, administrator and a GED Option Two Coordinator are present. These dedicated staff members offer Night School students extensive support, guidance and academic assistance.

The Night School Program is not a study or tutoring session. Many of the students placed in the program have experienced difficulties adapting to a regular school environment. Night School students are required to keep up with their regular classroom studies and homework. Those who attend Night School often find high levels of success due to the program’s smaller learning environments, fewer distractions and a differentiated time slot.

Transportation is provided for each student in Night School.
