Qualifications
Must have an institutional endorsement and has completed an approved program for the preparation of school psychologists, resulting in an education specialist degree or the equivalent, a master's degree, as determined by the institution and approved by the state superintendent. Such program must included 600 hours of school experience (or equivalent) under the supervision of a cooperating school psychologist.

Requirements

  • Complete online application
  • Official transcripts that confirm degree from accredited college or university, or evidence of being on track to complete requirements for graduation by the end of the semester (If graduation has not occurred at the time of application, a partial transcript will be acceptable. However, when received, final original transcript showing evidence of graduation must be submitted)
  • Three signed letters of recommendation
  • Resume
  • Teacher/Insight interview (E-mailed to all employees by HR after interview. Your score is not used as part of the rating of the application.)
  • Criminal background check
  • Pre-employment physical (including drug screen)
  • Residency requirement (City of Milwaukee within one year of employment)
