"In 1989, I earned my bachelor’s degree in History and Ibero-American Studies from UW-Madison. I continued my education and in 1991, I received my master’s degree in Educational Psychology from UW-Milwaukee.
The best part of my job is experiencing the incredible energy and optimism of the students. They are full of creativity and hope, often despite difficult life circumstances. Students enjoy visiting with me because I provide a safe space where they can come and not be judged, but accepted for who they are and recognized for their strengths. In my heart of hearts, I know that my students all have the potential to achieve greatness and fulfillment in whatever form suits them personally. I believe in each and every one of them and they give me new hope each day. My favorite thing about WCLL is the possibilities that each new day brings." |
