“I earned my bachelor’s degree in Library Science, Social Studies and Language Arts from UW-Milwaukee in 1973 and began teaching that same year. In 1993, I received my master’s degree in Education and Technology from Leslie University. In addition to teaching at WCLL, I teach higher education courses at St. Thomas University, UW-Parkside, Marquette University, McPherson College and Lakeland College.
I’m devoted to teaching because I know that there is a wealth of kindness and generosity hidden in the souls of our children. The effort of every true educator should be to unlock the treasure. Students enjoy my classroom because every day I aim to inspire them with a desire to learn. My students should know that I believe that anyone who dares to teach must never cease to learn. WCLL is a great school because love and skill work together in our community and we expect a masterpiece. Our students may forget what we say but they will not forget how we made them feel.” |
