| “I began teaching in 1995, after earning my Bachelor of Science in Education from Georgia State University. In 1999, I received my master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction in Math and Science from UW-Milwaukee. I continued my education and in 2003, I obtained a master’s degree in Administrative Leadership from Cardinal Stritch University. I have also received licensure from the Department of Public Instruction in the areas of Principalship, Director of Special Education and Pupil Services and Director of Instruction. I am currently working towards a PhD in Administrative Leadership from UW- Milwaukee with a minor in Special Education. Before becoming an assistant principal, I was a literacy coach, district facilitator in mathematics and anchor team member for writing for several years.
My favorite thing about being a teacher is watching children learn and enjoying them as they develop into young adults. The best things about our school are both the dedication of the staff and students to achieve and the diversity of the student population. WCLL is a great place because we work hard to educate all children. It takes parents, staff and students to accomplish this.” |
