“In 1977, I earned my bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Rust College. I began teaching in 1989. In 2003, I earned a second bachelor’s degree in Special Education from UW-Milwaukee.
My favorite part of teaching is helping others achieve their goals while stretching their knowledge in order for them to reach their highest potential in life. Students enjoy my classroom because of the many different learning styles presented. It has a warm and inviting atmosphere and is a safe place for students to express their ideas openly without feeling embarrassed. I treat my students the way I treat my own family – with dignity, love, respect and honesty. My students should know that I am fair, honest, and dedicated to working with them. The best thing about our school is our innovative technology, exceptional staff and variety of incredible field trips our students may attend locally and abroad. WCLL is a great place because of our school community’s dedication, professionalism and support of all of us working together.” |
