“In 1974, I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Clothing and Costume Design/Related Art from UW-Madison. I continued my education to receive my Master of Science in Clothing Design from Southern Illinois University – Carbondale in 1976. In 2001, I began teaching. In 2004, I obtained my certification in Art Education from Concordia University. I received my Master of Science in Administration and Educational Leadership from National Louis University in 2006. I love to see my students evolve creatively, especially when they tell me they are not talented in Art! Students enjoy my classroom because they are able to express themselves creatively. They learn how art is present in their lives every day. My students should know that I am very serious about art. WCLL is a great school because the staff works well together and supports our students in their educational endeavors. We are a small school so we are able to develop close relationships with our students.” |
