to Washington High School of Expeditionary Learning
It is
with delight that I introduce you to Washington High School of Expeditionary
Learning. The world is a big place to move around in. Our school will
give you a choice of courses and programs to guide you in learning about
the untold places and a community you know by heart.
Our small high school is a place for you to build relationships with your
peers and teachers in our community. Our courses will challenge you to
become an active learner by conducting experiments and research and participating
in field trips and hands-on activities. We have partnered with local businesses,
colleges and universities to provide you with personal and professional
development opportunities both within and beyond the school. Experiences
that you gain here will instill a sense of direction that will take you
through high school and into careers and higher education.
Our website will help you, your families, and our community to learn what
we have to offer and who is here to direct you. We expect a fun school
year with exciting education and enhanced achievement and attendance.
